It was made in the United States and has been designed to deliver top-notch sound quality that is unmatched by other snare drums on the market.The snare drum is a "6 1/2"x 14" and I believe it's the universal model it doesn't say the model on the ludwig logo badge but looks just like there universal models.The shell is mahogany and as well as the finish.The drum has tube lugs and die cast hoops that are similar looking to the gretsch die cast hoops.The top head is  remo white coated remo X and has a back dot underneath it and the bottom head is a ludwig clear weather king in good condition.The only thing i noticed was there was a screw replaced on the snare throw that is not original. Everything works perfectly and looks beautiful.
