2 large, domed, metal buttons with a striding lion on the face, which is finely ridged.
These are a lightweight, 2-part, silvery, metal button which has been gilded. The backs have an integral shank & stippled ring. They probably originated as a uniform button.
The buttons are 29mm ( 11/8”) in diameter & about 10mm (3/8”) in thickness without the shank. The surface is worn with the silvery base metal revealed in places.
The buttons have been packed carefully for safety in transit, which is possible worldwide. . Carriage will be combined whenever possible.
