This vintage Mon Cheri bridal gown stands out as unique because of the fabric used for the bodice.

It is intricately embroidered then embellished with single stones. Simply Stunning.

It has a scoop neck, cap sleeves, and a vee back, all with delicately scalloped edges. The bodice has a basque waist, boning for shape, and also has delicate scallops surround the bottom. All rhinestones are present and there are no marks, flaws or stains. It has a zipper closure.

The skirt is 3 layers. The top layer is plain and unadorned, but with that bodice, who needs more? The second layer is tulle, and the third layer is a lining with a tulle ruffle at the bottom.

There is one small pull at the end of the train (see photo) and several areas of what I like to call "bride dirt". None of these appear to be stains, just small soiled areas, most likely from walking around.  This dress needs to be cleaned and pressed.  The hem appears to have been secured with 'Stitch Witchery' which needs replacing in many areas. (see photo)  The hem is finished with a horsehair edge.

The train bustles under a bow on the brides lower back. All hooks are present as are the tiny embroidered bows used to secured the bustle in place. The bows are intact but show wear.

The waist measures approximately 28 inches.

The chest measures approximately 34.5 inches.

There is a generous 1 3/4 inch seam allowance on each side of the bodice.
