Beautiful collection of stamps in mostly new condition, with some used. But let's stop at this point. New stamps from Uruguay up to 1930 are quite particular. It's very difficult to obtain stamps from this period with intact gum in impeccable condition because due to the humid climate, it's always expected to see small rust spots or even a yellowish color on it. This lot doesn't escape this situation, so it's expected to see these details on the back of the stamp, or even to see them without gum. Washing stamps to prevent this oxidation was a common practice in the past. Having said that, please note that although the stamps are in new condition, with gum in most cases, these small coloration details and rust spots exist.
