Experience the Magic of Hand-Carved Sculpture

Hand-crafted from premium English Yew wood, each Sculpture is a unique testament to the craftsmanship of Jefferson Payne. No two pieces are identical, showcasing the natural variations and unique patterns of yew wood.

Natural Coloration

All colours are inherent to the wood itself. The cream/white sapwood to the red/brown Hartwood. No stains or dyes are used, allowing the natural beauty of Yew to shine through.

Silky Smooth Finish

Every Fiddle Stick is sanded meticulously to achieve a silky smooth texture, enhancing the tactile experience.

Pure Beeswax and Coconut Oil Blend

Finished with my own blend of pure, clear beeswax and coconut oil. This special mixture not only protects the wood but also enriches its natural lustre.

Waxing Ritual

One 5 ml tin of wax incl.

An indulgent experience is occasionally applying a fresh coat of wax by hand. This process not only maintains the Fiddle Stick's beauty but also provides a sensual therapeutic moment of self-care for your hands and mind.

Dangers

Yew wood is safe as long as you don't eat it or breath in lots of sawdust. So if your research shows it as poisonous, it is harmless in its finished form.

These are to be touched with your hands and have no other purpose. If left in direct sunlight or damaged by dropping or rubbing against hard objects. They could produce splinters hazardous to your hands. Small amounts of damage can be removed with fine wet n dry sandpaper and wax. Apart from some small knots and cracks, the surface is very smooth and can be easily damaged if put in pockets or bags next to keys and other hard objects. These are not for use by small children. These are to be played with in your hands with only the tips and first part of fingers being inserted into holes. Thumbs, big fingers or knuckles could become stuck if inserted too far.

These are not children's toys and are intended to be used by adults only.
