A wonderful vintage pair of Abe Lincoln cast bookends. These are heavy! An estate find, they are in very good preowned condition, with no chips, cracks, or damage. There IS some green felt on the bottoms which shows age and wear. One of the bookends is somewhat brighter in color than the other—makes me wonder if they were collected separately and paired later. Otherwise, they are the same historic scene of Abe sitting and holding his famous top hat with the capital building in the background. A charming and wonderful addition to any collection.
