Here is the modern version of the Brilhart Levelaire mouthpiece made by the Beechler corporation. The ARB #5 stainless steel peashooter style alto saxophone mouthpiece. Don't let the #5 fool you, the tip opening measures .086" which is more like a modern #8. it comes complete with the original chrome ligature and a generic black plastic cap.

Very similar to the Beechler stainless steel model only this one has a step baffle for more edge and brilliance.

This is the mouthpiece made famous by Nelson Rangell and can be heard on many of his smooth jazz offerings.

STAMPED ARB ON TOP with THE #5 ON THE SIDE AND THE SERIAL NUMBER S120238 ON THE OPPOSITE SIDE. THE FACING APPEARS TO BE ORIGINAL. TIP, TABLE AND RAILS ARE PERFECT WITH NO SIGNS OF ALTERATION.

IT FEATURES A SMALL CHAMBER WITH A SOMEWHAT HIGH LONG STEP BAFFLE. NOT TOO SHRILL OR TOO BRIGHT. NICE, POWERFUL ALTO SOUND.

BEST REED CHOICE FOR PLAY TEST ARE THE VANDOREN ZZ 2 1/2 REEDS.
