Offered is a one of a kind Marklin 3 Gauge Live Steam Tank Loco.

This was made as a store display for a large department store in London.

We are told it came with "smaller" [16 and 18 inch] size passenger car, dinning car and luggage car with typical Marklin detail.

It has been run and as the photos show the sight glass is broken. An easy fix as the glass is sold by many on eBay. (If repairing it is not within your bailiwick we can repair it for you provided you provide us with time required to order the part, install it and then ship it.) 

The owner has not been able to locate the original cars however there are many craftsmen capable of making them.

This is in amazing condition for being from the 1928-1930 era and having been used as an active holiday display.

We will ship this overseas so shipping and insurance will be added to the S&I quoted on eBay.

The weight is about 30 US pounds or 13.7kg

S&I price per $1,000 varies greatly based on location.

We do have a store therefore this auction may be ended due to direct sales.
