Some things to know on this unit:
- No drives are included.
- Stock memory is 2gb, but this unit has been upgraded to 8gb. There is an extra slot to upgrade further. Picture included of memory module to show the upgrade.
- Fans were replaced about 6mo ago and are in good shape.
- The power supply was also replaced 3mo ago. This model is known for having power supply issues with the model that came from the factory, usually about 4-5 years in. This replacement supply should not have that issue and is only a few months old.
- Synology did a factory refresh on this system in 2020. That means the motherboard is 4 years old, rather than the 9 that many other units might have. Essentially, you're getting a "low-mileage" unit that is newer than the model number might indicate.
- Unit is clean, other than a few scratches on the top casing.
