New old stock GM part# 8623788 TH/M40 kickdown solenoid for at least 1965 thru 1975 GM cars & trucks with a Turbo Hydramatic Transmission, TH400 automatic transmission, M40 Transmission.  The early books just note 'Turbo Hydramatic' then TH400 then M40 for later years.  The part number changed several times adding many applications up to 1988.  This shows up in all GM parts books, including Cadillac, GMC, Chevy, Pontiac, Buick and Olds.  Very hard to find genuine GM/United Delco.  There are plenty of China reproductions out there, but real GM is scarce.  Still with GM box - genuine GM at a super low price - get a spare to put on the shelf.  PLEASE be sure this fits your needs - no returns.  See photos. Superceding part numbers: 1993620 8626974 8629207 and 8629935.  The '620' stamped on the solenoid are the last digits of one of the original part numbers 1993620.  Chevy models include A,B,X,Y,F,CK,G - pretty much any that had Turbo Hydra-Matic Trans.
