This plate was produced by Enoch Wood & Sons in Burslem, England between 1820 and 1830. It is from the Sporting Series,with the Pointer or Pointer and Quail pattern.

 In the image you can see the hunter, the hunting dog and the pheasant. The outer border is adorned with a floral pattern. The engraving was made by John Scott after the work of the artist Philip Reinagle.

The impressed identifying mark has an eagle with Enoch Wood & Sons at the top and Burslem at the bottom. Very rare plate

Condition: crack from edge to centre, small fleabite on the edge . Otherwise, excellent antique condition.Please carefully regard all photos.
