Selling a 2008 Maserati Granturismo. This is pretty much an entry level supercar which is now being sold for the price of a Camry. I will start with the good. Only 68,000 miles. The 4.2 V8 Ferrari derived engine sounds amazing and still has plenty of power. Recently replaced the valve cover gaskets, oil pan gasket, oil level sensor, and had TEM Performance install the variator check valves in the cam caps. There was no gunk buildup or any shavings on the inside of the oil pan or the valve covers which makes me believe that the engine was serviced regularly. Everything on the inside looked pretty much brand new. Transmission shifts good and there are no weird noises from the suspension. From 5 ft away, the car still looks stunning and gets attention anywhere you go.
Now onto the bad. The car needs TLC. I purchased it off the auction and it definitely sat for a while. Had a bad oil leak from the oil level sensor which I now fixed along with the valve covers and doing the variator fix. I meant to keep this as a weekend car but unfortunately the plans have changed. I have about $18,000 in this car and just don't want to invest more time and money into it. The car still needs some cosmetic issues to be addressed mainly on the inside. Definitely could use an updated radio since the old one has issues with the screen. Seats are worn and dry. Has error codes for the suspension, TPMS, and Park sensors. I do not have the right scanner to check the codes. The shocks do not seem blown but you can feel the front end get loose every once in a while so I am assuming a tie rod or a ball joint needs to be replaced. Brakes are spongy but still stop fine. Outside could use a good detail and a buff to make it shine again. I have driven it a handful of times on the highway and it drives just fine. It can make the trip back home. I do not want the buyer to expect a showroom quality car but it's not a bad car. I just refuse to do an AI generated ad like most sellers which will make it seem like a brand new car. Definitely has a lot of potential to be a pride and joy for someone who is willing to put some work into it. It has no rust and the issues are not major. Similar models with the mileage regularly sell for mid $20k and they're also not perfect. I may be forgetting some things. I rarely drive the car. It is sold as is.

There is currently a sale on aftermarket radio upgrade. I am not affiliated with the seller or the link but including this in case anyone is wondering how much it costs. https://s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_ooaTTDq
