VINTAGE INVAR POCKET WATCH CROWS FOOT STAMP WWII era military working

A vintage “Invar” pocket watch which dates to the World war Two era.

It has a Government issue Crows Foot stamp on the back and the numerals “SS” “W7981”.  I am not certain but this may perhaps be a military issue watch?  please take a good look at the photos and see if you agree.

Condition:-  it is working …I have tested the watch over 5 hours and it kept good time.  The case is showing light signs of age and use.  The enamel dial has some fine hairlines.  I do not service watches and therefore when I sell them I recommend that they be serviced as they may need refurbishment and repair.  

Size:-  diameter of case is 40mm
