Antique American Theodore Set of 4 large Neoclassical Sterling Silver Candlestick


A very fine American 4 matching weighed candlesticks. Circa 1916. Feature hand-chased Sterling Silver with Neoclassical decorations. Each engraved "Christmas 1916" on the underside. They were made by the New Yorker silversmith Theodore B. Starr. His company founded in 1862 and incorporated in 1907 by Starr's son, then bought in 1918 by Reed and Barton. Each Candlestick measure 11" H. They came with the original sterling silver removable 4 cups for an easy cleaning. One cup rim is bent a little, otherwise the candlesticks are in very good condition without dents or repairs. Please view the pictures for more details.
