All I’ve done is take the rust off the iron and chip breaker with a wire wheel. For decorative purposes a good cleaning and oiling will set this piece right.


For using you should know the following: there is no screw for the blade assembly. The wedge is original and fits perfectly. The right hand abutment should be stabilized with a bit of glue. See the photos. The tote is rock solid. No checks in the plane’s body. The sole will need lapping.
