A beautiful vintage Copeland Spode Chinese Rose Sandwich Platter. The Platter is 26.7cm long and 18cm wide. The Platter is in good vintage condition with no chips, cracks or crazing. There is some very minor age related wear to the green rim around the edge of the bowl and some slight wear in the corners of the platter to the pattern (please see last photograph). There is some very light use related surface scratches to the plate surface. These can be seen under strong lights and do not impact on the appearance of the platter. The Chinese Rose pattern was first introduced by Spode in 1913 and produced through 2006. This Bowl has a Copeland Spode stamp that dates it to having been produced between 1920 and 1957. The date stamp is A 49 meaning that the platter was produced in April 1949.
