Here we have a very desirable bright and colorful piece of yellow ware.  This is decorated with black, rust brown and blue bands that are unique to this Gresley Ware pottery produced by T.G. Green.  Below the bands, in black glaze, this is boldly printed FLOUR.  On top, the large shaker holes are perfectly formed in the shape of an “X”.  Some of the black glaze on the top band flaked off in the kiln during firing.  The FLOUR shaker measures 5” in height and 2 ¾” wide at the base.  This survives in its original factory condition with no post production damage or repairs.  There was a limited production of these for a short period of time, they seldom found anywhere and are a very desirable piece of yellow ware any collector would cherish.
