Up For Sale: Billings, Clapp & Co. Boston Chemists' Bottle Aqua Applied Lip Patina 1870s Era

The bottle is aquamarine and measures approx. 10.2" tall, 3" wide, and 2" deep - It features beveled corners and three inset panels where it is embossed with; "BILLINGS, CLAPP & Co./CHEMISTS'/BOSTON" - It has an applied finish with a small indentation/spout - the base is labeled "3" with some whittling marks, and the glass has bubbles throughout. The bottle exhibits an iridescent patina scattered throughout as well as white/weathered content staining - The outside surfaces exhibit surface wear including scuffs and marring - Below the applied finish appears to have either crazing or perhaps this is just due to the application process? These lines do look like cracks or lines but they definitely sit below the lip and I do not feel them inside the bore. Overall; this bottle exhibits plenty of wear and character, it is clear it was found somewhere buried in the earth.
