For sale are a nice trio of Brimar 6SN7GTY / CV1988 tubes, though the labeling has rubbed off over the years, the British military "broad arrow" can be seen indicating that these were made to military spec.
These have the characterisic Brimar sound, warm and full. I play tested them in a 300b amp with ~100db efficient speakers and tthey exhibited no noise or undue microphonics.
The tubes were tested on a Dan Nelson calibrated Hickok TV-7 D/U, where minimum good is 50; Results are as follows:
N060: 99 / 104
N061: 85 / 85
N062: 94 / 102
