Fab! Vintage Mexican Necklace Two-Sided Puffed Pendant Aztec Turquoise Malachite

A stunning vintage Mexican two-sided puffed pendant on a gold plated necklace. One side of the pendant is inlaid in malachite and brass depicting a woman wearing a bird-looking headdress, and another side features an abstract Aztec pattern laid on turquoise. The rim of the pendant tests sterling silver.

The pendant is marked on the bale Metales Mexico, the necklace is stamped indistinctly near the clasp.

Dates ca.1960-70s.

Necklace length: 48cm.

Condition: the inlaid abstract pattern has a small area of tarnish on brass that can be polished off; otherwise in excellent condition; cleaned in a jewellery cleaning bath and ready to wear; please refer to the photos for detail.
