For sale is this Antique 19thc Vanity Box Case - Secret Drawer - JJ Mechi London.  It would have been one of the more luxury boxes being made in the time and dates to around 1820.  it needs TLC and a little work and there is trim and wood case missing in places and bottom. there is wear and tear as should be expected for the age. There is a secret letter compartment inside lid flap and there is no mirror.  Brass plates are also vacant and split in lid. The locking pin isn't present but  are easily sourced. Overall a very nice box and please inspect photos for further condition.
