Beautiful, colorful, detailed print of a Navajo woman sitting in the sand in WITH HER INFANT. A GREAT NAVAJO MADONNA. This is so typical of R. C. Gorman. Colors beautiful and detail is wonderful.

Gorman has been called the "Picasso the the Southwest". His uninhibited and free flowing style with a color sense that captivates the eye of the beholder.

Sadly Gorman passed away in November 2005 at the age of 74. When once asked how he would like to be remembered, he replied "That I was a hard worker and that I cared about people." He will be greatly missed but his art will live on.

Framed in a 5 x 7" frame, (actual outside size of frame is 7 1/2 x 9 1/2) solid wooden frame with glass with double mat in TWO-TONE BLUES that brings out the colors of the print. Actual Print is 3 1/2 x 4 1/2". Great addition to your R.C. Gorman collection.
