PLEASE NOTE: The size description "4x12" does not describe the size of the vent. It describes the size of the hvac hole/opening that this vent is meant for. It is bigger. These "Flush Mount" Vents are made to be cut into the floor they come with an outside frame that the vent cover sits into. You will need a skill saw, or a multitool, or a rotozip, or whatever you're comfortable using. Significant carpenter skill is required for this task.
