New old stock bulk Philips UCH42 (14K7) radio frequency changer valve/tube

The Rimlock base (B8A) UCH42 valve was a popular frequency changer (converter) valve used in the 1950's in many British and European valve radios.  These new old stock bulk Philips UCH42 valves are tested as new on our Marconi MU-101 mutual conductance valve tester.

Eddystone used the UCH42 valve in the 670A, 840 and 840A communications receivers.

Grundig used the UCH42 tube in models 36GW/UKW, 196GW, 238GW/UKW, 288 GW, 326 GW, 346 GW, 988 GW, 1001 GW/MW, 1002 GW, 1006 GW/GWK/GWKH/GWL, 2000 GW, 2001 GW, 2003 GW, 2004 GW and 2006 GW tube radios.

Nordmende used the UCH42 tube in models 185GW/GWU, 186GWU/GWUV, 198GW, 225GW/GWU, 258GW/GWU, 275GW, 310GW, 320GW and 370GW tube radios.

AEG, Blaupunkt, Bush, Ekco, Eumig, Graetz, Korting, Loewe Opta, Murphy, Philips, Telefunken and many other manufacturers also used UCH42 tube in many models.

These new old stock Philips UCH42 tubes are from a industrial pack case (no boxes) and are made in France for Philips by La Radiotechnigue with standard Euro date and manufacturers coding under the base.
