COMPACT Reverse Osmosis Water Filter System | WITH ALKALISER+TANK (1-70compact)

For a long time there has been a call for a compact Reverse Osmosis System to suit installation in areas with limited space or caravans.
In the past we have discouraged these system from being installed because of excessive vibrations and the potential for leaking (or damage) to components.
Instead we have recommended using portable RO's that are not used inside but rather outside where water overflows etc can't cause any damage.

The call recently has been for RO's to be more more compact and fully automatic which means they need to be a permanent fixture (installed).
Modern connectors and quality component now make it possible for this to become reality. We have done away with the removable screw off housings which were notorious for vibrating off in transit.

We have replaced them with fully sealed inline filters, changed all the connectors from screw jaco style to push connectors so they cannot work loose, then made some healthy changes to the finished product.

As you read through the features I'm sure you will agree that finally technology has permitted us to offer a safe (dry) method for producing reverse osmosis water automatically and safely in the confines of your caravan / motor home.

1/ Dimensions

Weight 1.59 kgs (Dry)

Length:  34cm

Compressed width: 15cm
Tank height: 34cm
Tank diameter: 23cm

2/ pH neutral final carbon filter Exclusive!

This is a new feature to our RO range. We are all aware that RO water can be, and often does produce acidic water, this is when the pH of the water is lower than 7 pH.

This filter is the final stage before drinking and combines the benefit of coconut carbon for taste and odour with pH neutralizing calcite marble, a natural store that raised pH as the water passes over the stone. From this we can guarantee you safe pH neutral fresh healthy water.

3/ Magnetic Treatment

On the way from the final carbon filter the water passes through a negative magnetic field which activates the water for further health advantages. This has been used in our 6 & 7 stage system for years with rave reviews and stories of great health advantage from people with all sorts of health inflictions - from arthritis to cancer sufferers. An important factor in health and well-being is water consumption, and the fact is that if the water is fresh and clean, people will drink more of it.

Negative Magnetic Treatment

We are the leaders in Magnetic Water Treatment System in Australia, exporting our Fluid Reactor Magnetic Systems to 8 countries around the world.

We have not promoted or actively been involved in the Health Industry because of our commitments to our core Water Treatment and Filtration business. However, once again we have been encouraged to build and supply negative Magnetic Water Treatments for human consumption and the evidence has been overwhelmingly positive.

Magnetic energy is widely used in Water Treatment and we helped pioneer this technology in Australia. This inevitably led us to develop and supply a technology called negative defusing technology, meaning that when put it in reverse it activates negative energy into drinking water.
So many customers have benefited from this technology, reducing the symptoms of kidney stones and calcification of the arteries, along with so many other advantages in drinking negatively charged water.

4/ Compact Compact Compact !!!

We have made this system as compact as possible given the futures it offers it's a fantastic space saver. The tank has been reduce from 12 lt to 8 lts. It's made of steel so it's impossible to damage, just be sure you have it appropriately secured, as undoubtedly if it's full of water it will pack a punch if it gets loose. We called the system the compact for this very reason, we recognize the importance of space saving in this environment.

5/ Competitive

Just because it's small doesn't mean it produces a less effective result, in fact quite the opposite. The membrane used in this system is probably the most successful ever made. The results with this system will equal of better that of any other system on the market for any amount of money you might decide to spend, so we we are confident to stack this Compact system against anything on the market.

6/ Low Pressure Membrane

Probably the most successful membrane ever made. Most membrane including those used in our 6 & 7 stage system only function from 40 psi upwards. In a van situation this means your pump may be working over time cutting in and out . Also many low pressure pumps have trouble maintaining a high enough pressure to make standard membranes work effectively.

The 13-3LP Low Pressure Membrane has been purpose built to operate in low pressure situations from 20 psi to 120 psi. It's the Commando of the membrane world if you like, Because of the extra cost of these membranes we don't use them as our mainstream membrane. However they are purpose built for this particular application and well worth the extra few dollars.

7/ Drain valve

We have been researching and working hard of eliminating the waist waist water from RO system. Even though waist is a fact of life with RO we have managed to reduce waist to 50/ 50 (variable) The drain valve we use is a 200cc valve which helps keep back pressure on the membrane and reduce wastage. Most competitor systems use valve varying from 250 - 400 with a waist ratio fro 2 -1 to 6-1.

8/ Back up service

We build the RO's we market them we service them  we know them inside and out, contact us if there are any issues.

9/ Water production

at a constant 45 psi you could expect to produce about 8.30 lph , the bottle holds 8 lts so as soon as you extract water from the tank it automatically begins producing and refilling the tank

10/ Service life of cartridges

1st Stage - Carbon. Replace every 6 months
2nd Stage - Membrane. Replace every 3 - 5 years, (pending water quality)
3rd Stage - Carbon Neutralising Cartridge. Replace every 12 months

Note:  We realize also that holiday makers come and go , several weeks on the road and several back home so considering the small size of the Compact RO , it's possible to disconnect the system while it's not in use, store the complete system in the fridge ready for the next outing, this will extend the life of the carbon cartridge.

Postage & Handling

As part of our offer of Free Shipping Australia-Wide, FSA reserves the right to select the most cost-effective courier to effect delivery of the product to you. If you require an item on an urgent or express basis, it is your (the buyer's) responsibility to contact us directly by telephone prior to purchase, in order that we may quote you the options available for express delivery to your nominated address. Express shipping is not included in our offer of free shipping - this service will come at an additional cost payable by you, the buyer.

All orders will be dispatched within 1 business day of the order being placed. Orders are to be shipped by one of our preferred freight companies, including but not limited to Australia Post, Startrack CouriersFastway/Aramex Couriers, Sendle, Couriers Please & Border Express OR TNT For Large Orders.

Where possible, please provide your physical address or Work address so we are able to select the fastest and most efficient form of postage. In cases where a PO box, Parcel Locker or any other Australia Post Service is provided, we will have to use Australia Post which has a wider range of parcel restrictions. If you have any doubt about your order or delivery address, please contact us prior to purchase.

Filter Systems Australia enforces strict dispatch protocols to avoid human error where possible. Orders are thoroughly checked and signed off, carefully packed to minimize the chance of transit damage, and then recorded manually into a hard copy dispatch manifest. FSA now uses predominantly electronic labelling and freight services so all orders where applicable will have tracking numbers and daily manifest reports.

IMPORTANT NOTE:

All orders MUST be checked for damage within 48 hours of being signed for as delivered (based on tracking details). If damage is found you must contact us immediately providing photos of the damaged goods, and if possible, the damage done to the carton/box. This 48 hour period is a figure provided to us from our freight companies to approve transit warranty cases. If we are not notified of damaged goods within 48 hours, transit warranty will be void and FSA can no longer take responsibility for damaged goods. It is the responsibility of the buyer to have read the terms and conditions of Postage and Handling and understand the requirements for transit cover on all orders.

Authority To Leave

Please leave us a note on the purchase or message us direct after purchase to add a delivery instruction on your order. We process orders very efficiently so it is important that you contact us quickly so the order is not processed before the note has been added. If Authority To Leave is given by the buyer, transit warranty can be void in the incidence of a missing/stolen parcel. FSA will work closely with the freight company to resolve any disputes or issues with delivery and Proof of Delivery. Only provide an ATL on orders when there is a safe place for items to be left.

Returns Policy

Due to the nature of the products we sell, a strict return policy is in place. We work with food-grade certified materials that must be un-opened and un-used, so as to be able to be re-sold. This policy falls in line with the Australian Consumer Law, which is designed to protect BOTH BUYERS AND SELLERS.

  • Refunds/Credits/Exchanges: Refunds aren't always an automatic right, and under the ACL we don't have to offer a refund if you buy the wrong size/change your mind etc. Under the ACL we are also entitled to place fees/conditions on a refund if we aren't legally required to give you one (i.e. if we offer a refund in good faith). Therefore, based on the terms and conditions of our returns policy and your consumer rights, depending on the situation, you may receive an exchange, refund or credit of equal amount, less a Restocking/Out-of-Pocket Shipping Expense Fee (if applicable), and any other deductions that are relevant.
  • 30-Day Returns Policy: Returns will not be accepted without prior approval or after 30 days of the invoice date.
  • Wrongly Purchased Items/Changes of Mind Policy: Wrongly Purchased Items, or Change of Mind Purchases may be returned for a merchandise credit, and a Restocking/Out-of-Pocket Shipping Expense Fee (see below) will also apply. This applies to, but is not limited to purchases of products that are:
    • The Wrong Size;
    • The Wrong System;
    • The Wrong Replacement Pack;
    • Due to a Change of Mind;
    • Due to Buyer Error, whereby the buyer has failed to conduct proper due diligence (including contacting FSA prior to purchase in order to clarify the relevant technical specifications, compatibility, requirements etc.) to ensure the product purchased from us is the correct product for their requirements.
  • Restocking/Out-of-Pocket Shipping Expense Fees Policy: All returns will incur a 17.5% restocking fee OR an out-of-pocket shipping expense fee, whichever is greater.
    • This fee is in place to cover the administrative expense incurred in processing the return and/or the out-of-pocket expenses incurred by us in shipping the item to you. FSA may use its discretion to determine the restocking fee. Please note this policy falls in line with the ACL, and is designed to protect us as the seller from losses incurred due to buyer error. This means that you will NOT receive a full refund of the original purchase price - you will bear the cost of shipping the product back to us, and then you will receive a credit equal to the purchase price of the product LESS the Restocking/Out-of-Pocket Shipping Expense Fee and any other relevant deductions. Please refer to our Shipping Policies (below) for further clarification.
    • Low-Value Returns: Please note that with low-value items, sometimes the cost of sending the item back to us may be more expensive to you, than simply keeping the item. For example, let's say you have ordered 3x meters of the wrong-sized tubing for your needs and paid $12.00. If, for example, it cost us $7.69 to send the item to you, and it would cost you $7.69 to send the item back to us, overall you would be $3.38 worse off than if you had kept the item and re-ordered the correct product for your needs (due to incurring $7.69 to send the item back to us, and having $7.69 taken out of the credit/partial refund).
  • Shipping Policies:
    • Free Shipping Offer: As part of our offer of Free Shipping Australia-Wide, FSA reserves the right to select the most cost-effective courier to effect delivery of the product to you. We make no guarantee as to how long an item will take to arrive due to unforeseen circumstances outside of ours/the couriers' control, including but not limited to: Staff Shortages, Supply Chain Demand, Extreme Weather Events etc. Please refer to the Late Shipping/Express Shipping polices.
    • Express Shipping Policy: If you require an item on an urgent or Express basis, it is your (the buyer's) responsibility to contact us directly by telephone prior to purchase, in order that we may quote you the options available for Express Delivery to your nominated address, and to organise additional payment for this Express Service. Express Shipping is not included in our offer of free shipping - this service will come at an additional cost payable by the buyer.
    • Late Shipping Policy: Given that we offer the option for customers to organise Express Shipping with us prior to purchase, cancellations or refunds will NOT be issued on the basis of late or delayed shipping where the customer has opted for our Free Shipping offer. If the item (sent via Free Shipping), arrives late and the buyer wishes to return the item on this basis, the buyer will be liable for the cost of returning the product to us and a Restocking/Out-of-Pocket Shipping Expense Fee will be applicable to the return, as per the listed returns policy line items above. The customer will then be issued a merchandise credit.
    • Free Shipping does not apply to Returns: Whilst we offer Free Shipping, this does not mean that there is no cost to ship the product from us to you, or vice versa - obviously, a shipping expense is incurred each time a parcel is sent from point A to point B. As with all e-commerce operators that offer Free Shipping, the cost of shipping a product from our warehouse to your nominated shipping address is included the price of the product. The offer of Free Shipping therefore only applies to the act of FSA supplying the product to you in the first instance (i.e. upon the placement of your original order), and does not cover the cost of returning the product from the customer to FSA, OR the cost of postage in issuing an exchange where the buyer is at fault or has changed their mind on a mind purchase.
    • Returned to Sender Items: In the case of the buyer being unavailable to sign for the delivery, refusing delivery, or the item being sent back to us for whatever reason, FSA may, at its discretion, pass the cost of the product being Returned to Sender (i.e. being returned back to us), back onto the buyer. Refer to the Restocking/Out-of-Pocket Shipping Expense Fees policy (above).
    • Lost Parcels: If an item is deemed to be LOST IN TRANSIT by the courier and FSA determines this to be the case directly with the courier, the customer is entitled to a replacement product or refund in line with the ACL. In the case of a replacement product, FSA reserves the right to send the replacement product in line with its Free Shipping offer. If you do require the replacement item urgently, please get in touch with our customer service team directly to organise Express Shipping.
  • Product Damage & Product Faults: Any damage to products that are not reported to FSA within 48 business hours of receipted delivery is not covered under our transit warranty. Return shipping is to be paid by the buyer to the address provided by FSA. It is recommended that the customer applies a transit warranty to the return freight item/s, in case of damage.
    • Faults: Should the item appear faulty or doesn’t work as described, you must supply written/photographic/video evidence of the fault to us, so that we may assess whether the unit/item must be returned for testing (if requested). If testing is requested, return postage is to be paid by the buyer.
      • If the unit/item is deemed to be faulty, compensation will be provided for the postage cost (proof of cost required).
      • If the unit/item is deemed to be in working order and as described, the buyer will be responsible for the cost of return postage of the product from FSA's premises, back to the buyer.
    • Minor Damage: Any damages (minor, that can be repaired) will incur a fee, that will be deducted from the total refund which will be equal to the cost of the replacement parts (List Price) and labour charges (if applicable) to repair the system(s). This will be separate from the Restocking/Out-of-Pocket Shipping Expense Fees.
    • Major Damage: Any damage considered to be major and not feasible for repair may be refused and the return request will be void. The customer will be responsible for the return freight or disposal of the damaged unit.

If you have any questions about our return policy, please contact us before purchasing. This will also help to ensure you purchase the correct product that suits your requirements.
