When purchasing please message me if you are unsure which screws are the correct length for your reel model
Side / Cover plate screws fit Mitchell Models:- 300, 301, 300A & C, 330, 331, 330A, 331A, 350, 351, 351A, 400, 401, 410, 411, 410A, 411A, 440A, 440A Match, 441, 441A Match L, "Match", 510. 810, 840, 900 series and a few more.
If you are unsure which is the correct length of replacement screws for your reel's cover plate I have added this rule of thumb ;-)
1. If your cover plate has no red gasket e.g. Mitchell 300 etc you need
8mm length screws.
2. If your cover plate has a red gasket e.g. Mitchell 440A etc you need
10mm length screws.
3. If your cover plate is the slightly thicker version which is mostly the 810's and 840's without a gasket you need a 10mm length screws.
(The later 810's & 840's with a red gasket use 12mm long screws which unfortunately I have run out of, but 10mm screws although not ideal, will still hold the cover plate in place)
