 If you’re looking for a front license plate with a casual, understated look that’s rugged and substantial rather than the tacky, garish look found elsewhere this is the perfect solution.  Most other personalized front license plates are made out of a paper-thin material such as stamped metal or plastic that is easily bent, dented or cracked. Many others offer front plates with inferior stick-on letters that often simply fall off in no time.  Please note the second photo; these substantial front plates are almost ¼ inch thick which makes bending or denting virtually impossible. These plates weigh almost one full pound.  The raised 3D letters aren’t separately attached; they can never come loose or fall off.  Both the plate and the letters are one single piece of metal.  This is the perfect solution for the harsh environment that front plates are exposed to. The raised letters as well as the raised border are a natural uncoated alloy that’s machined to give them a subtle satin finish so there’s nothing to chip or wear off.  The recessed area is painted with an OEM-grade automotive epoxy enamel in Black to contrast with the brighter satin finish on the letters and border.  If you’re looking for something that’s subdued and subtle yet substantial rather than the flashy, cheap look of chrome or plastic then this is the perfect solution.

Please note the listing photo is just a sample to give you a general idea what these plates look like.  Your plate will have the actual letters of your choice.  Just use the PayPal memo box when you check out to let us know which letters you’d like on your plate.  Additionally you can also use the ebay message system to let us know which letters you prefer.  We can generally do up to 7 letters or spaces with an occasional possibility of up to 8.  The maximum amount will be somewhat variable due to the different width of various letters.  If there are any space issues with your choice we’ll email you prior to manufacturing.  Please be sure to write out your lettering EXACTLY as you want it to appear regarding which letters are capitalized.  For example, requesting a plate with the name “Grandpa” would be a capitalized letter “G” with the remaining letters in lower case. Please note we reserve the right to decline any request we feel is in poor taste.

Please note that since the metal foundry can’t begin the manufacturing of your plate with your particular letters until after you place your order the typical manufacturing time after your order is place will average 10 to 12 business days.  Subsequent UPS transit time to your address will average 2 to 5 business days depending on your location.

If you live in a state that doesn’t require a regular registration plate on the front of your car or truck, these great looking, high quality plates provide the perfect finishing touch.  These plates are the same standard dimensions (12” wide by 6” tall) with the same hole locations as regular state registration plates.  Please note that since many states do require a front plate, all vehicle manufacturers offer a front plate mounting bracket.  If your vehicle doesn’t already have one, check with the local authorized dealer for your particular brand of vehicle.  These factory brackets will usually include the hardware to attach the bracket to the front bumper and the plate to the bracket.  If your vehicle already has the bracket but no hardware, any local hardware store such as Lowe’s or Home Depot is a great source for quality screws.
