PILOTS RARE WW2 BINOCULARS 2.5X50 MAG WITH CROWS FOOT MARKS ON BINOCULARS AND CASE
BAKELITE EYECUP HAS SOME DAMAGE ON RHS
AS I AM NOT A COLLECTOR MY KNOWLEDGE IS LIMITED ON THESE BUT I BET THEY COULD TELL SOME FANTASTIC STORIES IF THEY COULD SPEAK!

MARKINGS ON THE CASE READS:

"BINOCULAR 2 -1/2 X 50 / 10* Field / CAT.No VF 2507 / J.B.B 1945 ^"   WD mark arrow.

Manufactured in Brass and covered with a smooth black leather covering These binoculars are of a small, but substantial design, and are heavy.  The optics are excellent, and give a crystal clear image with the 2.5x50 optics which were the optimum magnification for use in the cockpit of an aeroplane.

The shaped Bakelite eyecups are  perfect on one side but have some damage to the other (see photo's) and there is an original leather neck strap.   They were all manufactured by Henry Hughs of London. The leather case is in very good condition.
