Sold primarily as a gun lock this lock works well for securing your motorcycle helmet to a bike and for many other applications. The Master Lock works with a variety of firearms. It can also be used to attach your firearms to stationary objects.
SPECIFICATIONS:
14" (35 cm) long vinyl covered cable with a 5mm cable diameter.
Dead-locking mechanism to prevent rapping the lock open.
4-pin tumbler security.
Attractive plastic lock cover prevents scratching.
INSTALLATION:
1. Put safety in "on" position.
2. Unload all ammunition as explained in your firearms owner manual.
3. Visually inspect chamber and magazine tube to ensure the firearm is completely unloaded.
4. Action must remain in the "open" position: do not close the action.
5. Unlock the gun lock cable using the key provided.
6. Thread loose end of cable through the firearm's loading port and out the ejection port.
7. With the key still inserted in the lock press the unfastened end of the cable lock into the hole in the lock body.
8. Pull on cable to make sure it is locked.
NOTE: Do not "work" action with cable in place. This can result in unnecessary abuse of the cable and the firearm. Replace cable lock if protective coating separates from steel cable or if it fails to operate properly.
