Eastman EFH520 4 Valve Double French Horn with Gold Brass Bell – Intermediate model (brand new)
This Eastman French Horn (Serial No. 10932) is brand new, and available for testing in our showroom should you have the opportunity to visit Beaconsfield in South Buckinghamshire. You will find it in perfect condition.
It is supplied with an Eastman hard case, which has optional shoulder straps.
It also comes with a (unbranded) French Horn mouthpiece. If you wish to change the mouthpiece,
We can offer the French horn with a full 12 month warranty.
This is the lowest price 4 valve (full double) model in our range. In our opinion, the instrument performs well and would be a very good first 4-valve instrument for young players, or more mature players with a limited budget. Eastman instruments are well respected and manufactured at their factory in China. In comparison with other models in our showroom for student players, which are in the £1,800 to £3,000 price range, the Eastman is not as robustly manufactured; so, for example we think whereas the Eastman model may last you 10 years, the Yamaha 567 model might last 30 years. We offer this guidance to help you understand the price difference. However, if we did not feel the Eastman was good value for money, it would not be part of our selection.
This item has full 20% VAT, and so would qualify for an AIPS purchase. If you wish to purchase this trumpet for your child under this scheme, please do not proceed to payment via Paypal, but make contact with us by phone or email to arrange the necessary details under the VAT free scheme.
Product Description (from another site):
“Already in very high demand with many professional players, this is the newest model in the range of French Horns by Andreas Eastman.
French Horns were the first Andreas Eastman Instruments to be produced. A great success from the start, players very quickly appreciated the flexibility in all registers, accurate intonation and comfort in the hands.
Andreas Eastman French Horn rotors are hand-lapped yellow brass tapered valves that assure long life, accurate intonation and a tight fit with smooth, reliable action.”

Rosehill Instruments is a music retail business which has specialised in
selling and repairing brass and woodwind instruments since 1967. It was founded
by Trevor Austin (father of Paul) who was previously a euphonium player in the
Horse Guards (and played on horseback at the Queen Elizabeth II's coronation in
1953). Following long service in the Salvation Army as a player and conductor,
his reputation led to requests to supply instruments around the UK and
overseas. Rosehill is now led by Trevor's son Paul. The company was awarded a
UK government contract in 1999, and since then has been an approved supplier of
musical instruments to Her Majesty's military bands. We also repair, refurbish
and service all brass band and military band instruments at our workshops in
Beaconsfield. As well as drawing customers from all over the UK, we also supply
many instruments to bands and players overseas.
