Daytona Custom Low Profile open face
Low Profile design for the authentic custom look & finish - different size helmet shells prevents that 'astronaut helmet' look you normally get with this style of helmet !!
Just check out the second picture, the helmet on the left is the low profile, it's amazing at just how 'slimmer' it is than the ordinary open face style on the left.
These 2 mannequin heads are the same size & are both wearing a 'Large Helmet'. The one on the left is the low profile version well sell, the proportionate fit is evident. The helmet on the right is creating what is often know as the 'Mushroom Head' or 'Astronaut'
Our comprehensive range of Daytona Old School D.O.T. helmets in this style are ALL low profile.
The reason that these look 'just right' is down to the manufacturers making different size helmet shells for different size heads, rather than just one huge bulbous shell & then making it fit by increasing the amount of padding dependent on your head size.
Daytona helmets feature proportionate shell outer sizes for the different available sizes:
A Medium & Large helmet has a larger shell size than a Small.
An XL & 2XL shell is larger than a Medium & Large.
Meets Or Exceeds D.O.T. Standards.
One of The Smallest D.O.T. 3/4 Shell Helmet Ever Made!!
With Three Different Shell Sizes You're Sure To Get That Proportionate Fit!!

Measure around head just above the ears.
Buying the RIGHT SIZE

The circumference of the head should be measured at a point approximately one inch above the eyebrows, or atwhatever point gives the largest possible measurement. If your measurement falls between two sizes, choose the smaller size for this helmet.
