Does your Fluke 90 or 105-Series Scopemeter (NOT for 98) have buttons that will not respond? Most likely the problem is with the keypad contact foil below the keypad membrane. The polyimide-carbon films are prone to failure over time due to the flexing action caused every time a button is pressed.

Recognizing the weaknesses of the original Fluke keypad contact foil, we developed our own replacement boards that are much more substantial and durable. Designed as a drop-in replacement, these contact boards simply take the place of the defective plastic foil. No special tooling or knowledge is required. The replacement can be completed in 10 minutes or less using just a Torx T10 screwdriver. Most users will have already disassembled their Scopemeter to have discovered the defective keypad foil in the first place.

Some symptoms of a defective keypad foil are:

  • Non-functioning buttons
  • Instrument will not power on*
  • Erratic behavior

Includes Flat Flex Cable (FFC) to connect to the main PCB.

PLEASE NOTE:

*If your Scopemeter will not turn on, there could be a more serious problem. You are welcome to contact us for assistance to determine if the keypad foil is at fault or if the problem lies deeper.
