These architectural quality necked barrel bolts are a premium quality necked door bolt with a lacquered polished brass finish. They will add a quality feature and provide additional security to any door.
These bolts are not spring loaded. They have a sprung loaded ball bearing that hold the barrel in position (both in the open, and closed position), to provide a smooth operation, and also making them suitable for verticle installations.
Necked barrel bolts are usually fitted to the inside face of a door that opens away from you.
- 2" x 1" Inch Bolt 51 x 25mm - This 2 inch necked bolt back plate measures 51mm long by 25mm wide. The bolt has a maximum projection of 13mm and the neck extends the centre of the 6mm diameter bolt 16mm above the mounted surface, the keep is 16mm by 35mm. A spring loaded ball bearing is fitted in the bolt to retain the bolt in position and prevent rattle.
- 2.1/2" x 1" Inch Bolt 63 x 25mm - This 2.1/2 inch necked bolt back plate measures 63mm long by 25mm wide. The bolt has a maximum projection of 12mm and the neck extends the centre of the 6mm diameter bolt 18mm above the mounted surface, the keep is 16mm by 34mm. A spring loaded ball bearing is fitted in the bolt to retain the bolt in position and prevent rattle.

The bolt has a maximum projection of 13mm and the neck extends the centre of the 6mm diameter bolt 19mm above the mounted surface, the keep is 16mm by 36mm. A spring loaded ball bearing is fitted in the bolt to retain the bolt in position and prevent rattle.
