Uguisu products are made from free-range Nightingales birds droppings. This unusual and rare treatment has been used by Japanese Geishas for centuries to clear and revitalise their skin. They found the droppings helped treat signs of ageing and sun damage, minimising and reducing pore size, skin discolorations and giving skin a younger, softer appearance. How Uguisu is Made:
Uguisu is processed by harvesting the Japanese Nightingale bird’s droppings and drying them out in the sun for at least 2 weeks. After collection, they are treated with UV light to sanitise and dehydrate them before being turned into a fine powder and shipped for use by salons. Note: Uguisu is only collected from free range birds which means the birds are never put in a cage or confined.

The Hydrating Mask is made from 92% Enhanced Uguisu No Fun while the remaining 8% of the ingredients is a formulation that replenishes and locks in moisture. Contains the finest ingredients to combat chronic skin dryness and visible signs of aging and sun damage. This formulation contains Sarcosine, also known as N-Methylglycine - a naturally occurring amino acid that attracts moisture, retains it and gradually releases it as needed, leading to complete skin hydration for up to 96 hours after use.

How to Use:

Facial mask (30g): This comes in a powder format. Mix 1 teaspoon of Uguisu powder with warm water and make a paste. Apply on the skin while avoiding the eyes. Leave for 10 minutes or longer then rinse.

As a facial wash: Lather the facial wash with hands and mix half teaspoon of the mask in the lather. Wash the face using this mixture and rinse.
