The Linkage System for the YFZ450R will improve your performance in more than one way, by lowering the leverage ratio making the rear end work better in all aspects. It will get rid of the hard spot at the bottom of the shocks full compression giving you a smoother ride, absorbing big impacts better and maintaining traction when the shock fully compresses. It will absorb breaking bumps when entering a corner, keep the traction to the ground when exiting the corner and keep your rear end tracing properly in all other aspects, also, by keeping the rear end working properly in turn the front end will perform better, especially while cornering.
The Walsh Linkage System requires a rear shock that is specifically built for this linkage and the linkage must stayed paired together (knuckle & pull rod).
