Colpermin contains peppermint oil formulated in a prolonged release capsule. These capsules release the clinically proven peppermint oil where it is needed to relieve the symptoms of Irritable Bowel Syndrome, namely painful spasm, bloating with wind, constipation and/or diarrhoea.

Ingredients

EACH PROLONGED RELEASE CAPSULE CONTAINS THE ACTIVE INGREDIENT PEPPERMINT OIL BP 0.2ML. COLPERMIN ALSO CONTAINS GELATIN AND REFINED ARACHIS (PEANUT) OIL.

Directions

DIRECTIONS FOR USE: Swallow the capsule whole with a drink of water. ADULTS AND ELDERLY: One capsule three times a day; the dose may be increased to two capsules three times a day if necessary. Do not take immediately after food. Do not chew or break the capsules. Do not take indigestion remedies at the same time of day as this medicine. If your condition does not improve after two weeks of treatment, consult your Doctor. CHILDREN: Not recommended. PLEASE READ THE ENCLOSED LEAFLET BEFORE USE.

Sustained release enteric coated capsule containing: Peppermint oil 0.2ml.

Usage

Adults over 15 years of age and elderly: 1 capsule should be taken 3 times daily with a glass of water. Do not take the capsules immediately after food. If the pain and discomfort are more severe the dose can be increased to a maximum of 2 capsules 3 times. You should make sure that you carefully read all product packaging and labels prior to use.

Warnings

Not recommended for children under 15 years. Swallow whole to prevent local irritation of the mouth or oesophagus. The diagnosis of IBS should be confirmed by a doctor before taking an IBS treatment.
