This is the special COLOR edition of the ninth issue of SWORD & FANTASY. This version includes the FULL COLOR version of a 6 page reprint of the Frank Frazetta comic strip (sample page below) "Diamonds & Pebbles" from HAPPY COMICS #33 (Sept. 1949) (the other versions of SF#9 which I have listed feature this story reprinted in black and white). This is a fantasy comic strip with art heavily influenced by Hal Foster.

SWORD & FANTASY #9 is 8 1/2 x 11, side-stapled, and 80 pages in length.

Features include an art folio by Howard Pyle. An original 9 page sword & sorcery comic strip by Ron Wilber "The Accursed Wizards Land." Articles on H.P. Lovecraft from 1950s fanzines. "On Science Fiction And The Weird" by Seabury Quinn from the fanzine THE TALISMAN (Summer, 1950), an article on the scarce 1960s Mexican Conan & Belit comic book, a 5 page Roy Krenkel folio and more.
