Six gallons is a very common batch size for wine kits.  It is also good for 5 gallon batches of wine or beer when you want to leave some headspace for foaming or have a little extra liquid in there for topping off.  This is a set including the carboy, airlock, and correctly sized bung.  

Having an extra carboy fermenter sure comes in handy when you need to add capacity to your home winery or brewery.  Someone called and is coming over with some strawberries they lucked into? You are covered!  Want to run more than one batch at once?  You are covered!  This brand new 6 gallon glass carboy kit ships double boxed.   



The bung and airlock are included.  The glass is thick and heavy, over 12 lbs.  There are molded-in bump rings and a space for a label.

ITEM CONDITION:  The offer at this price is for shipping one or two together.   Combining more than two into a shipment is not safe to ship and that makes over 2 a deal killer for us.  If you purchase more than 2 per order we will just not ship those extra ones.  Any over 2 will be refunded along with $5 of the total shipping paid.   Please do not ask to purchase 3 or more unless you are local pickup.  If you need a half dozen no problem just purchase them two at a time.
