WILD THINGS
This thriller takes place in Blue Bay, Florida, where social-climbing guidance counselor Sam Lombardo (Matt Dillon) is indifferent to teen-socialite Kelly Van Ryan (Denise Richards), who retaliates by accusing him of rape, an accusation that leads to his suspension by the school and a rejection from the country club. He can't afford a big attorney, so he hires shrewd Ken Bowden (Bill Murray), while Kelly's mom, Sandra Van Ryan (Theresa Russell), Sam's former lover, gets a platoon of top lawyers. Trailer-trash Suzie Toller (Neve Campbell) backs up Kelly's claim and additional plot twists and turns develop. The seldom-seen Carrie Snodgrass (Diary of a Mad Housewife) has a supporting role in this film.
WILD THINGS 2
Dirty deeds among the rich, poor, and generally unscrupulous have come back into style in this direct-to-video sequel to the hit Wild Things. Niles Dunlap, a wealthy but less than honest businessman, dies unexpectedly in a light plane accident, and his teenaged step-daughter, Brittney Havers (Susan Ward), figures she's a shoo-in to inherit his fortune; however, Brittney discovers that Niles's will stipulates that his 40-million-dollar estate is to go to a charitable foundation unless a "blood heir" can be produced. Enter Maya King (Leila Arcieri), a schoolmate of Brittney's, who claims that she's Dunlap's illegitimate daughter -- according to Maya, her mother worked as a maid for the Dunlap family, and Maya was born after her mother was seduced by Niles. Meanwhile, Terence Bridge (Isaiah Washington) is an insurance investigator whose job is to hang in the balance. His employers would just as soon not pay off the two-million-dollar life insurance policy Dunlap had taken out, and Bridge is hoping to prove that the plane wreck was no accident.
WILD THINGS: DIAMONDS IN THE ROUGH:
Beautiful and rich Marie Clifford (Sarah Laine, American Pie 2) is about to have it all. Upon turning 18, she will inherit her late mother's fortune, including a matching pair of flawless diamonds. But when her step-father, Jay Clifford (Brad Johnson, Left Behind) is accused of raping local bad girl Elena (Sandra McCoy, The Hot Chick), Marie must decide if she will use the diamonds to help him, setting in motion a story of deception, double-cross, blackmail, and murder. FBI agent Kristen Richards (Dina Meyer, Saw, Starship Troopers) investigators, trying to decipher who is innocent, who is guilty, and who will end up with the diamonds.
