The Hounds were a Swedish rock band of the mid-'60s, organized in 1965 by 19-year-old guitarist and singer Henrik Salander and his friend, singer Jan Ahlén. The group -- whose other members included Lars Wallander (guitar), Jan Bråthe (bass/vocals), and Janne Önnerud (drums) -- had a decided orientation toward pop/rock, with an emphasis on harmony vocals and mainstream fare. They contribute two covers to this EP; Rolling Stones' As Tears go By and the Regents' Barbara Ann.

Keith MacLeod was a part of the Hertfordshire folk and blues scene from 1959 onwards. He played in St Albans alongside Mick Softley, Maddy Prior and toured with John RenbournMacLeod was an early influence on Donovan, and was the bassist for the original line up of Hurdy Gurdy which also inspired the Donovan song, "The Hurdy Gurdy Man". On this EP her performs Donovan's Josie.

The Sunspots came from Stockholm and released two singles in the Gazell label in 1965. She said that she Loves me was the A-side of their first single.
