Stevie Ray Vaughan's Fender Stratocaster Number One

Purchased in Texas in 1973, this heavily abused early 60’s Fender Stratocaster was Stevie’s favourite and is the guitar he was most associated with. Rebuilt countless times, it was originally fitted with a white pickguard and right handed tremolo bar but Stevie fitted the left handed gold tremolo in 1977, which gave him more playing freedom.
