The Targa roof bracket mounts on C4 Corvettes are held in place with two Torx head screws on each each corner of the panel. Over the years these bolts can rust or loosen up and fall out. If you are driving around with one or more missing or stripped roof bolts it is only a matter of time until you have a bigger problem. Replace them now while you can still afford it.

These fasteners are available from several big name Corvette supplies. However, the price for the exact replacement black oxide pieces is quite high. You can buy a complete set of 8 stainless steel bolts/screws from us for less than just two or three bolts elsewhere.

Our fasteners are made of stainless steel which eliminates rust forever. This trumps the inexpensive black machine screws that were used during factory assembly. Also, our heads are the very attractive “Socket Button Head” style with Allen (Hex) sockets. We feel that this head is a much better looking fastener than the original, not so attractive, Torx style head which was intended for one time only robotic assembly. The original bolts did not have washers, but we at Righty_Tighty like to use washers on just about everything. A set of 8 stainless steel flat metric washers is included in this kit.
