Tile backer insulation boards are designed to cover internal and external walls and floors to help with warmup times and reduce heat loss. These boards are constructed with a highly compressed super-insulated core and then covered on both sides with a fibreglass reinforced polymer modified cement coating which is a similar construction to Marmox/Wedi type boards. This provides a lightweight but very strong advanced insulation that allows underfloor heating, ceramic, porcelain, and stone tiles, plaster, or render to be fitted directly to the surface.

These boards are often used as a direct replacement for plasterboard due to their superior sound and insulation properties especially in bathrooms to create a fully tanked waterproof wet room.

Living Heat insulation is manufactured in compliance with BS EN ISO 9001:2001 and certified by BBA Certificate 04/4186. Living Heat insulation also complies with BS EN 13164: 2001 Thermal insulation products for buildings.

All boards come complete with an industry-leading 10-year, waterproof, and structural integrity guarantee.

Boards measure (1200mm x 600mm) x 6mm, 10mm 20mm, or 30mm.

Boards can be installed with a suitable adhesive or screwed in position with insulation washers, (both available separately from Living Heat). Please note: When using insulation fixing washers, the washers should be fixed at a maximum of 300mm centres which means you will need at least 15 washers per board.

Delivery Information

Orders placed before 12:00 will be dispatched the same day on a next working day delivery service. During busy periods we can not guarantee your packages will be sent out on the same day. To minimise any delays please make sure you provide us with a valid telephone number. Our couriers try their best to deliver the next day and currently have a 98% success rate. However, the next working day, delivery is not guaranteed. All our deliveries can be tracked so don't hesitate to ask one of the staff who will be happy to help. For some remote UK locations, we do have to make a small additional delivery charge. If you are unsure if your location could be considered remote please feel free to contact us before you buy.

Please note: Liquids cannot be sent to international addresses due to current aviation regulations.
