This power adapter uses 25% less power than a standard linear power supply. Due to it being switch mode it is also far more compact and weighs much less than a standard supply.

Checking Suitability

1) Firstly check your device runs on one of the voltages below.

Voltage Outputs - 3V, 4.5V, 5V, 6V, 7.5V, 9V, 12V

2) Secondly check that the power requirement of your device is less than the outputting power of the power adapter (600mA 7.2W)

3) Next, check that the size of your DC socket in your equipment matches one below.

The DC connectors can be attached either way around allowing the power supply to be used with equipment that is centre positive or centre negative.
