PAYMENT
  • Payments will be accepted via PayPal and direct deposit/ EFT -  please obtain our phone number via eBay and contact us to provide us with your EFTPOS information.
  • For bank transfer/ direct deposit, please select appropriate icon at checkout.
  • Note: If paying via direct deposit please include your eBay ID as reference and allow typically 2-7 working days for payment to clear.
WARRANTY
  • If an item is found to be faulty, it can be returned during the warranty period for repair, or replaced if required.
  • Postage for return of the faulty item will be at the buyer's expense until inspection is carried out to ascertain if it is a manufacturing fault. If it is a manufacturing fault, the buyer will be reimbursed the return postage cost. Responsibility for posting the replacement will be the responsibility of us on the condition that the item had a manufacturing fault.
  • All accessories and bonus gifts are not covered by warranty.
  • Warranty is void where damage to the product is caused by reason other than the manufacturer's defects i.e.: accident, improper use, abuse, operation contrary to manufacturer’s recommendations, transportation damage or where the product has been tampered, altered, modified, converted, repaired or serviced by anyone but us, or if the warranty information has been tampered with or amended and also on cosmetic damages, wear and tear, damage to accessories.
RETURNS & REFUNDS
  • We will replace your item if it is found to be faulty on arrival within 7 days from the date of dispatch. In this case, the buyer must contact us first and return the item within this period.
  • Only returned items agreed upon by prior arrangement within 7 days of dispatch or within the warranty period (depending on the issue) will be accepted.
  • If the item is found to be defective, we will replace and send a replacement with postage paid for by us.
  • However, if the item received from you is found not to be faulty or has been tampered with, then the return postage of this item will be the responsibility of the buyer.
  • Items returned due to a change of mind will be refunded less the delivery.
  • The returned item must be in new condition with complete packaging, otherwise a refund will not be given.
SHIPPING & HANDLING
  • All items are dispatched from our warehouse in Adelaide, South Australia.
  • Item will not be sent until full payment has been received.
  • Please allow up to 7 working days for delivery (depending on the delivery address) after the payment is received by us (this typically takes 2-7 working days after sending the money). This timeframe is indicative only, we take no responsibility if delivery takes longer than this. Please check your tracking number with Australia Post Tracking to see where your item is before contacting us (no tracking is available if item posted in a padded envelope).
  • Shipments are generally sent out on a Monday, Wednesday, or Friday (except on public holidays) and only after payment has been confirmed. If the dispatch day falls on a public holiday, then the item will be sent out the next business day.
  • Large items are delivered via Toll or TNT (please provide phone number at checkout to avoid delays in sending). One delivery attempt is provided by Toll or TNT following this, a card is left for you to pick up at your closest TOLL or TNT depot or contractor location.
  • We are happy to arrange freight to either a depot closest to you or to your location using either Toll or TNT, however if you would like to arrange your own freight through your preferred transport company we will ensure your item is ready for pickup at our premises or we can transport it to your freight company at a small extra cost. Dispatch will occur following receipt of freight costs if using one of our freight companies (Toll or TNT) or upon you providing freight details. Consignment note number provided following item pick up by freight van.
  • Australia Post does not deliver on weekends, public holidays or after-hours. Australia Post timeframes are no longer next day delivery and country locations do take longer.
  • FIG Tools is not directly liable for any loss, theft, or damage during delivery.
  • If you are purchasing a large item (e.g. Hydraulic Bus Bar Machine) it will be dispatched in its original packaging, however we may open the item to check all is in working order and electrically compliant.
FEEDBACK
  • We suggest our buyers leave positive feedback after the item is received.
  • When we receive buyer positive feedback, we will leave positive feedback for the buyer (it is a win-win situation).
  • Please contact us to resolve any issues before leaving negative feedback (negative feedback cannot solve any problems that you have).
  • If you choose to leave negative feedback before either contacting us, or allowing us to fix a possible error, we will take that as a conclusion of our business and the end of all our obligations.
