Predator – Engineered for Maximum Accuracy and Power
Predators scientifically engineered cues and shafts have been proven to provide increased power and accuracy over standard cues. The key to a Predator cues accuracy and power is in the way its shaft flexes when the cue hits the ball. This unique flex reduces deflection, improving your accuracy by a mile! Predator shafts also provide increased spin for more precise ball placement.
Flex is certainly a great thing, but the feature that impresses players the most the first time they use a Predator technology shaft is the incredibly solid feel and hit — it’s a unique feel you can’t get from a traditional shaft.
All Predator cues feature a Predator technology shaft and Uni-Loc quick release joint, giving you even more power and accuracy — and an even better hit. Predator technology shafts feature 360 degree radial consistency, meaning each shaft shoots the same no matter how you hold the cue. In other words, you get a 360 degree sweet spot, so you won’t waste time aligning the cue in your hands.

Every component, ranging from each of their ten splices to the tip has been enhanced, modified and re-engineered to be more accurate and more consistent than ever. The entire front-end construction of each Vantage, 314-3, and Z-3 shaft is new and features Predator’s patent pending V-Tek components and build. This all new construction provides the shafts increased strength and stiffness with less front-end mass. These components paired with Predator’s iMatch splice selection process insures the density and weight of each splice corresponds perfectly with the other splices, further increasing both radial consistency and hit consistency.
TIP REPLACEMENT. Should you wish to replace the tip on your Predator 3143, Z3, Vantage, or CRM shaft, do not remove the dark gray tip silencer plate located underneath the tip as this will reduce the strength of your shaft and void the warranty. The tip silencer must remain at least .020″ thick to maintain the shafts integrity
Vault-Plate
The re-engineered front end construction incorporates the patent pending vault plate. The vault plate completely re-configures the stress points between the tip, tip silencer, ferrule, and splices to create a construction that is stronger from every axis with less mass and a higher level of kinetic energy transfer.
V-Tek Ferrule

About cue weight changes: At Nielsen's Billiards, we will try to get the cue as close as possible to the desired weight. Usually we can come within 1/10 of an ounce to the desired weight requests. Exact matches may not be possible, but we will try. We always try to do our best and keep our customers happy with prompt and courteous communication. Shipping items on the same or next business day is also a high priority as we know customers appreciate their item(s) as soon as possible. Our feedback is proof of our dedication to our customers. IF YOU HAVE A SPECIFIC WEIGHT REQUEST, please tell me when submitting payment. If submitting payment using paypal, you can put your weight request in the paypal message area. If you do not specify a weight, you will generally receive a cue around 19 ounces. Available weight range on this cue is generally from 18.0 to 20.0 ounces.
