This is an original and very large original 1904 updated to June 1, 1910, Atlas/Map Brooklyn New York.  The map measures 27 x 36 and it is on linen. It is in Ex+ condition.  This atlas map covers from Varick Avenue to Bushwick Avenue and from Flushing Avenue to Johnson Avenue.  Louis Hecht Tiffany & Co. Glassware and furnace factory, PS 88 and PS 147 appear on the map.  The Corning Glassware Company started out as the Williamsburg Flint Glass Company on McKibbin Street by White Street.  The Franklin H. Kalbfleisch Chemical Works is also on the same street.

Each color represents the type of structure. Yellow is wood, pink is brick, blue is iron and brown is stone. The X's through the buildings indicate it is a barn or stable. Brown indicates stone structures. A circle with a "t" indicates a  fire hydrant.  The map also indicates the names of the original deed holders and the double green lines indicate the original streets of New York before the grid system came in effect! The roman numerals inside the buildings indicate how many stories each structure is.
