Baobab powder originates from the Baobab fruit, which grows naturally in the African Savana. The Baobab tree is often referred to as “The Tree of Life”, growing in 32 different countries across the vast African continent. Historically, the powdered fruit has been used to support normal function of the immune system, maintain healthy skin, teeth, nerves, bones and blood vessels and even to promote a healthy digestive tract. Our Baobab is wild harvested and we have supported The Baobab Guardians Programme in the past by planting more trees, this project works to conserve Baobab trees in Africa.

Processing

The Baobab fruit is collected from the trees and undergoes the separation of the pulp from the shell and seeds. The pulp is then milled and sieved before being tested for foreign bodies, it is then weighed and put in its primary packaging before being sent over to the UK, where it is packaged and shipped out to our awaiting customers.

Suggested Usage

We recommend using 5g per day. 

Baobab Powder can be mixed with water, used to make smoothies and mixed in to juices.
