This weight was created by Colin Terris in 1991 as a special gift for one of his favorite retail store owners.

Caithness describes it as “A unique paperweight designed and made by Colin Terris."

Edition Size 1. #1 of 1.

Measures approximately 9 inches tall and 2.75 inches in diameter.

Retail price at issuance was $1,000. This is a very rare find as it was made for an individual and was not for broad distribution. It is also hand-signed.

Includes original box and packaging, certificate of authenticity, and the weight itself.

This weight is brand new, in its original box and has never been displayed. The box does show minor signs of wear (as pictured) but the weight is pristine.

About the manufacturer (in their own words):

Caithness Glass is known throughout the world for high quality Paperweights and Art Glass. Since our inception in 1961 we have taken our inspiration from the colours of the Scottish landscape - warm peaty tones, purple heather, golden sunsets, the grey blue of the lochs. In 1968 we added glass engraving to our skills and in 1969 we developed innovative techniques for producing abstract paperweights.

Shipping:
