Up for sale is a rare and large original Atlas/Map of Parts of Fresh Meadows and Glen Oaks - Bellerose Queens, New York 1947 with updates.

It measures 20 x 27 1/2.  It is in vg+/ex condition.  The Fresh Meadows Map covers from 188th Street to Francis Lewis Boulevard and from 69th Avenue to 73rd Avenue.  The Glen Oaks-Bellerose map covers from Horace Harding Boulevard (Long Island Expressway) to Union Turnpike and from Commonwealth Avenue to Little Neck Parkway.  This map also lists the old street names before the renaming of Queens Streets in the early 1920's.

The roman numerals indicate how many stories each building is and each color represents the type of structure.  Yellow is wood, brown is stone, pink is brick.  The X's through the buildings indicate a garage. The brown streets indicate cobblestone while green indicates macadamized pavement and white means it is unpaved.
